Iwato
The sun-goddess, Amaterasu-omikami, her heart troubled by the evil actions of her brother Susano-wo, hid in the Cave of Heaven and the world was plunged into darkness. Then, after much scheming by over eight million gods, amongst them Ama-no-koyane-no-mikoto and Ama-no-futodama-no-mikoto, the goddess of fertility, Ama-no-uzume-no-mikoto performed a risqué dance, and when Amaterasu opened the cave a little bit in response to the crowd drawn by this the god Ama-no-tajikarao-no-mikoto opened the cave with all his strength and light was returned to the world.
