There are more than 30 stories, including those that are founded on tales in the Kojiki of 712 and the Nihonshoki of 720 (early histories of Japan, which recorded Japanese mythology and history).
There are over 100 kagura groups in the western part of Shimane. Hamada is home to fifty of them.
Hamada City, population in 60, 000, is located on the west coast of Honshu Island. It is north to Hiroshima on the beautiful coast of Japan Sea.
