「八雲たつ出雲の国に隠り事 知らせる神の宮ぞ貴き」

　この神楽は出雲の国、美保関神社（みほのせきじんじゃ）の御祭神、恵比須様が磯辺で釣りをしている御姿を舞ったものです。
  恵比須様は、漁業の道、商業の業を教えられましたので、昔から、漁業、商業の神様として、崇拝されています。

Ebisu is regarded as the god of fishing, farming, and commerce. He usually holds a fishing rod in his right hand and carries a sea bream in the other. This dance is performed on auspicious occasions.
